Another blog post you don't care about

Last night, Stone Junction won the PRCA's Dare award for Trade and B2B Campaign. It's great news, I know. But you don't really care do you? This is just another blog post where we brag about stuff isn't it?

No - there are some good reasons to tell you about this. I promise.

Actually, I have three reasons why Stone Junction winning an award is worth caring about - and here they are.

We are a safe pair of hands
When you choose a PR partner, you are committing a great deal of money and resource and you want to know that you are going to get payback. If you aren't your own boss, you also want to know that the choice you make will reflect well on you.

This is true of pretty much any decision you make in business. Intel's famous Intel Inside slogan proves this beyond doubt. The concept was created to tell IT managers that it's safe to buy Intel. Even if it goes wrong, you've made the right decision and your job is safe.

This award, following hot on the heels of the CIPR PRide award we won for Best STEM Campaign last November, proves that Stone Junction is a safe pair of hands. Not only will you get a campaign that will deliver payback, reflect well on you and give you that sense of Intel Inside security, it will also have all the creativity, flair and technical nous you would expect from an award-winning agency.

It's a great benchmark
We know that clients benchmark their agency all the time. But does your agency benchmark itself?

We do. Believe it or not, the reason we enter awards isn't to get the chance to wear black tie and enjoy a nice meal. It's to benchmark our own work against the best in the industry.

Winning awards proves to us that we are at the head of our sector. The PRCA's award for best Trade and B2B Campaign is further evidence of this.

It's what we do best
When we take on new customers, they often tell us about the work they've done before, with another agency, that left them unsatisfied.

But we know for sure that not every agency out there is bad at what they do. In fact, the excellent competition we faced last night was the most gratifying thing about winning the award. We beat off competition from two great, market-leading, agencies who were representing two global companies, with fantastic reputations.

I think that the feedback we get from new clients about their old agencies is often the result of the agency trying to do something that they aren't genuinely excellent at.

This award proves we are genuinely excellent at trade and B2B PR and November's PRide award proves we are genuinely excellent at STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) PR.

So, if you want creative excellence combined with a safe pair of hands that won't drop the ball on your campaign, you know who to call. Hopefully, you now care enough to pick up the phone.

Stone Junction won the PRCA's DARE award for best Trade and B2B Campaign on July 6 and received the award in Birmingham's Edgbaston Arena. It was presented by Andy Crane. Yes, I know, Andy Crane!
